Today, I want to reflect on a sacred moment I experienced in the presence of the Lord. It happened early one morning in June as I was meditating on His Word and spending time in worship. In that quiet, intimate space, a single word dropped into my spirit: trust.
I paused and pondered that word deeply. As I sat with it, I began to understand just how vital trust is—especially during seasons that feel uncertain, emotional, or overwhelmingly difficult. In that moment, I sensed the Lord speaking clearly to my heart: “It’s not a question of whether I will do it. I have already done it. Trust Me.”
He reminded me that He has already proven Himself faithful. He proved it when He gave His only Son. He proved it when His Son died on the cross and rose again. The work was finished. The victory was secured. The question was never about His ability or willingness—it was about my trust.
I also heard Him say, “Seek Me and trust Me.”
At the time, I was facing a situation that required deep faith. I realized how essential it was not only to trust God in the process, but to seek Him even more intentionally. The answers I was searching for were not found in my own understanding—they were in His Word.
That realization led me to the powerful scripture in the book of Hebrews 10:35 that says, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompence of reward.” I knew I had to hold fast to my confidence in my Lord and Savior. I could not allow doubt, fear, or delay to steal what I knew to be true about Him.
If you are walking through something challenging right now—if you’re wrestling with a decision or unsure of your next step—I encourage you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly. Spend time in His Word. Everything you need is found in Him. The answers you’re searching for are already written.
Sometimes the hardest yet most necessary thing we can do is be still and wait for Him to give direction. When we quiet ourselves, He speaks. I am a living testimony of that truth. Each morning when I make time to pray, He faithfully leads me to a scripture that speaks directly to what I am facing. That Word becomes my strength for the day. It sustains me, guides me, and reminds me that He is in control.
My heart’s desire is always to please the Father and to walk by faith, regardless of how things appear. Trust is not passive—it is active confidence in a faithful God.
I pray this encourages someone today. May you receive renewed confidence. May you find the answers you’re seeking. And above all, may you trust the One who has already finished the work.
Be blessed.
