Have you ever asked yourself the question “Now what?”
After receiving salvation…
After forgiveness…
After healing…
After doing all you can…
Now what? seems to be a question that many of us ask.
Salvation is the beginning. It is the moment we realize that God has not forgotten us, abandoned us, or left us bound. It is the moment we recognize our need for Jesus and accept the gift of grace offered through Him.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.”
—2 Corinthians 5:17
Through salvation, our lives are changed—not because we earned it, but because God loved us enough to rescue us.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… it is the gift of God.”
—Ephesians 2:8
After salvation, many of us enter a season where hope begins to rise.
This is the stage where we start to see clearly again. Where burdens feel lighter. Where faith begins to grow. Rising to hope is the process of healing, restoration, and learning to trust God beyond the moment of salvation.
It is the season where God lifts our heads and reminds us that our story is not over.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.”
—Romans 15:13
Hope helps us move forward. Hope strengthens us to stand again. Hope restores vision where discouragement once lived.
But after salvation and after hope rises, another question naturally follows:
Now what?
Salvation was the beginning. Rising to hope helped us heal. Now comes the call to live saved.
Living saved means living for God, not for self. It means allowing God to shape our priorities, choices, and desires.
“If we live, we live for the Lord.”
—Romans 14:8
To live for God means surrendering daily—our plans, our will, and even our comfort.
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”
—Galatians 2:20
This is where discipleship begins. Discipleship is not perfection—it is progress. It is choosing, every day, to follow Jesus.
“Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.”
—Luke 9:23
As we walk in discipleship, we grow deeper in relationship with God. We begin to know Him—not just what He can do, but who He is. Our faith matures, our hope deepens, and our lives begin to reflect Christ.
“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”
—Jeremiah 29:13
Salvation was the beginning.
Rising to hope was the healing.
Now what? is the invitation to follow, grow, and live for God.
If you’re asking “Now what?”, the answer is simple—but life-changing:
Now you walk with Him.
Now you grow in Him.
Now you live for Him.
This is not the end of your journey.
It’s the beginning of a life fully surrendered to Christ.
