Day 4: Rising with Lifted Vision
Learning to look upward to God for renewed perspective and hope
Scripture:
“And immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.”
— Luke 13:13 (NKJV)
The story of the crippled woman reminds us that with Jesus’ help, we can rise from what has bowed us down and lift our vision upward—toward God. When our eyes are fixed on Him, hope begins to replace despair.
Jesus didn’t just heal her body; He restored her posture. Being able to stand upright allowed her to see again—see possibility, see purpose, and see God. In the same way, Jesus invites us to mentally and spiritually straighten ourselves, to shift our focus upward instead of remaining fixated on our circumstances.
When we are bent low by life, our vision becomes limited. But when God lifts us, our perspective changes. We begin to see that what once felt impossible is still within His reach.
As your vision lifts, hope begins to rise. Stay tuned for Day 5 of our 7 Days of Rising to Hope journey.
